Absolute favorite casserole!!! Just add more chicken if you like chicken in every bite. the sauce was perfectly cheesy but not overwhelming.

I just cooked my own chicken and shredded it. Will probably just do strips next time. Maybe a little more chicken and a little less onion. Left out the celery and probably will next time too. Tasted good using skim milk instead of half n half. Loved it! Perfect amount of hot sauce and loved the topping

This recipe was alright, I think it needed more chicken added. It is not something I would make often because of all the cream and butter invovled, but if you like really spicy chicken with a thick cheese sauce this is the mac and cheese for you.

I did this recipe pretty much to the tee. I replaced the half and half with 1%milk, because that was all i had, and I didn't add the bread crumbs. Next time I would add more chicken, more buffalo sauce, more hot sauce and the bread crumbs. This is a complete meal in and of itself; makes up to 6 - 10 servings.

I liked this casserole but I did not love it. The mustard flavor was so overwhelming I did not enjoy this at all. I also thought the blue cheese, which I love was very overpowering.
The mixture of these two powerful ingredients together was a bit to much. I have a similar recipe that calls for the exact ingredients with just a few minor changes, for me this recipe seems to give this mac dish a smoother flavor with the focus on the cheese sauce and the tangy flavorful chicken mixture. to me it is more balanced so you are not overpowered by one or two flavors. Minor changes are: Instead of 2 tsp. of dried mustard, use 1 tsp, Add 8oz of Velveeta cheese to to cheese mixture. Reserve one half of cup mixture of pepper-jack and cheddar, crumbled in a blender and mixed with the butter and panko spread. My mother crushes up Ritz crackers instead of panko which are yummy, they are more fattening, but with this rich recipe who is watching calories!

Very good and a nice change of pace from regular mac and cheese. You can definitely get 6-8 servings out of this recipe, probably more.

I would definitely recommend halving this recipe unless you're cooking for a large group. I made the recipe as directed and still ended up using TWO 9x13 baking dishes. Between 6 of us who LOVED it, we only ate about half, it makes SO MUCH. I felt it needed more buffalo sauce though, and next time I will omit the bleu cheese as it gave it a strange flavor. Otherwise this was the best mac & cheese EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome recipe!! Very good comfort food for a Sunday meal!! I had to double the amount of breadcrumbs, butter and blue cheese for the topping to cover the whole dish and I didn't use celery, but other than that I followed the recipe to a tee. It was delicious!!

Delicious dinner idea! I originally found this and thought it would be "meh" at best, but it really is something to share, write about, and eat! Have given this recipe to every single person who has eaten it at my house--yummy!
