WONDERFUL!!! I tried to be careful not to add too much hot sauce because of my 3-yr old, so we ended up adding a little bit more to our bowls after it was cooked and it made it GREAT! What a wonderful recipe! I have shared with numerous friends and family members already! Very time consuming, but very much worth it! Not healthy at all haha but it sure did taste like heaven! Will be making this again soon! Especially with the Holidays just around the corner!

This was fairly easy to make, but time consuming. Very heavy, but I made this for 2 hot sauce fanatics who devoured this! I used Defcon 3 hot sauce because that is what we keep in our house, and it was delicious. I also omitted the celery and onions since my son won't eat them, and used a dash of celery salt and onion powder instead. I really enjoyed the panko and blue cheese topping, and I normally am not a fan of blue cheese. This was a nice change to your basic casserole or mac and cheese. I would definitely make this again, but not too often, as you can almost feel your arteries clogging as you eat it!

I LOVE this recipe. I've made it for friends and for potlucks and I've always gotten rave reviews. Anytime I mention it my friends all tell me I need to make it now and give it to them! One thing I change is that I'm not a huge fan of the hotsauce so I only use 1/4 cup in the whole thing. I put it in with the chicken mixture and don't put any in the cheesesauce. For me it's perfect because it's just a hint of spice but major league cheesy goodness. I also use a little bit more blue cheese crumbles on top than the recipe calls for and it is wonderful!

Having a boys night while our wives played Bunco so made this for the guys. Easy to make, great taste. I did use extra sharp cheddar and about an extra quarter cup of hot sauce with the chicken. Everybody went back for seconds, some for thirds.

I saw this receipe yesterday and thought since it was a cool night, why not give it a shot - boy am I glad I did, this was delicious. I kinda screwed up and put all the hot sauce in the chicken so when the cheese sauce was done I tossed the chicken in and mixed them together. The panko topping was delicious and really added to the dish. It did take a bit of time to toss it together on a week night, but it was worth it. Can't wait to see how the leftovers are tonight.

Honestly, the BEST mac and cheese my family and I have ever tasted! We make it every other Sunday for a big family dinner and we don't even speak while eating it! And that is saying something with 6 of us around the table!!

I made this last night and it was very good! I agree with maybe shredding the cheddar, the cubes took a while to melt. Definitely worth the time, it feeds an army!
