I made this for a potluck. A lot of vegetarians raved about this...and the meat eaters as well. It is decadent and a surprising favorite! Very easy to make.

I was skeptical at first, "Mustard with apples!?!" But this was so Bomb!!! Made it on Gournet pizza night with my boyfriend. This was the best out of three!!! Gotta try it!! I seared it on a stove top first then used a crussoint crust instead. The rosemary was an awesome touch!!! Making it again next week for his parents as an appetizer!!!

I felt the crust was easy to make, nice and flakey, but the galette seemed to have no flavor, maybe my apples weren't sweet enough, and I didn't cook it long enough? It looked beautiful though!

yummmmmmmmy! This recipe was really really good. I made two for a Happy Hour at my house on Friday night and they were long gone. I made it according to recipe using organic veggies, herbs and butter, and creamy gorgonzola instead of stilton...success. "It tasted just like fall" they said-

This is my favorite recipe I've found on food network so far. It is absolutely delicious. If you need to save time, go ahead and buy a crust, but know that the crust lends a scrumptious and savory undertone to the dish that I wouldn't go without. Definitely a crowd pleaser, it tastes much fancier than the cheap ingredients would suggest.

SO tasty! I tried a fast variation just for fun and it worked great....not as pretty as the homemade crust, but still tasted good. I toasted whole grain bread and cut into triangles (I like triangles better than squares. Then I carmelized all the apples/squash/onion and seasoning on the stove. I suppose this would be good if you run out of flour too :

Of all the recipies I have ever used from Food Network (and I use it often this one is the best I have ever had. It is an odd assortment of flavors that come together to make the most flavorful dish. I wanted a full tart so I added just a little extra of everything. Just an extra half of apple and a few more slices of onion etc. put it over the top. I will fix this for every special ocassion coming up and for love of it. The cheese is the icing on the cake!!!!! Don't be afraid of this recipe because it really is very easy to fix and worht the bake time. ENJOY!!!

This is simply delicious!
The flavors of the squash, apple and onion go so well together, and the small bit of blue cheese adds the perfect amount of zing. I did not find it overpowering at all.
It was pretty straightforward to make. I had a little bit of trouble rolling out the dough to the correct specs, because I had let it chill for several hours and it was a bit hard to work with. Next time I will let it sit out for a few minutes before trying to work with it.
I ended up with leftover butternut squash and onion wedges, which I will use in another recipe tomorrow.
I will definitely make this delectable dish again - it would be lovely for a dinner party.
