My favorite soup, hands down! I have received mixed reviews from company, since they expect a typically sweeter version. I love the savory flavors, also much healthy than other recipes!

This is one of my favorite soup recipes of all times. It is perfect for fall weather. I love the flavors the balsalmic and tomatoes add! I use vegetable broth. Love it.

This soup is very easy to make and is flavorful. I've made it two ways -- first roasting the squash and not roasting the squash. Either way it turns out great. Perfect on a rainy spring or fall day. Don't skip any ingredient -- it's even better with the freshly grated Parmesan! I've served it at two family gatherings -- very popular.

This recipe was easy to follow and a lot of fun to make. I also substituted fresh tomatoes for the canned ones and it came out great! A little bit of parmesan cheese on top when serving adds the perfect last touch. Will make again!

This soup was great. I didn't have canned plum tomatos so I used fresh--peeled the skin. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about the tomatos but the flavor was excellent.

This soup was great! Only thing I did different, I think, was to roast the butternut squash first. Really hit the spot on a cold night!

This soup was so easy, and pretty quick too. Very delicious. I will definitely make it again. I took the suggestion of microwaving the squash first, and that is a big help, easier to cut and then cooks faster too. I also used fresh tomatoes out of my garden. I think next time I will use more tomato because I love the flavor of the tomato with the squash.

Ok, this is definitely the best soup I have ever tried to make, but quite possibly the best soup I have ever eaten. The flavor is amazing, perfect for a cold day. I can see where one may be confused by how many tomatos the recipe calls for. It seems odd to use a random 2 medium sized tomatos from a can. I opened a big can of italian style plum tomatos and pulled out three to use. There is no mistaking, however, the amazing taste of the garlic, onions, and tomatos in this soup. This soup is a winner and I will be making it a permanent part of my recipe collection.
