Wagon wheels were a great pasta for this dish. I wanted to lighten it up so I subsituted a few things like 2% milk and 2% sharp cheddar for the sauce. I also used turkery kielbasa and added corn for color and texture. I'm sure the foodnet version was richer and probably better, but the fat was not missed. Tasted great! My fiance and our friend ate the whole thing in silence. Always a sign of a great meal.

Easy to make and very flavorful! I used 2% milk and 2% extra sharp cheddar and it was still creamy and delicious. My grocery store didn't have andouille but they did have a Louisiana hot pork sausage that was excellent to use a a substitute. I will be making this again!

This recipe is really easy and really tasty! I made a few changes to accommodate what I could find/eat. Instead of whole milk I used low-fat lactaid milk, instead of cheddar I used monterey jack cheese, and instead of andouille I used hot italian sausage. I don't know what the difference in taste is to the actual recipe, but this way it came out delicious! My boyfriend announced half-way through his bowl that we must add this meal to our regular rotation. Final note--it's spicy (at least with the italian sausage I used but has just the right amount of kick. I definitely recommend this recipe!

Well I'm not the first. I'm giving this 4 stars because I didn't use Andouille sausage cause I Didnt have any. Instead i used Smoked Hot Italian sausage from a local butcher. and it turned out very tasty. Everything else i did by the recipe using Emeril's Essence for the cajun spice. I will be making this again

    Mmmmm.. Mmmmmmm... Mmmmmmmmmm.

Made this last night for my family. It is the perfect mid-week meal. Quick and easy (though I did make a big mess during prep. The sausage was delicious. I thought I had a 'cajun' seasoning but I didn't, so I used a 'southwestern' seasoning that I had. Probably not terribly different. Everyone went back for 2nds.

So, family is happy for the delish new meal. I'm happy for an easy, delish new weeknight meal =
