Filling was 5 stars all the way, but the microwaving of the peppers needs some tweaking. After ten minutes they were very soft...I skipped the step of adding them in the pan with the filling...they would have been mush. I'm thinking half the time would have been about right.

The stuffing was really good, but I won't be microwaving the peppers next time. I will roast the peppers in the onion as another reviewer did.

Yummy !!! Found this recipe in the latest issue of food network recipe and it is jam packed with flavor. I added a little cayenne to give it a little more of a spicy kick and roasted the peppers in the oven. Great stuffed pepper recipe food network !!!

Couldn't find andouille at my grocery store, so I used choirzo instead. Turned out great!! It was a very satisfying meal. The leftover stuffing tastes good on its own with a large chunk of crusty bread to help mop it up.

Since becoming a vegetarian. I have been looking for a great stuffed pepper recipe! This is compeletly awesome! I had my veg. friend over for dinner to try it as well. We both wiped our plates clean!I love that it had 2 whole grains for the stuffing. I just omitted the sausage. However, I did forget the tomatoes. But, it was still delicious! This recipe will be one for my books! Thanks soooo much :

It was super tasty! I had a tough time finding the sausage so I used Cajun sausage instead! Definitely going in my recipe box as a keeper!
