Loved this recipe. First saw it in the Food Network Magazine. I made it as the recipe suggested and was very very happy!

I had some beans but no tarragon or whole grain mustard.

I added black sea salt and pepper before cooking and I used rosemary because I had it.

    Family loved it.

My picky-eaters ate this! My 2-year old and husband both liked it and I will make it again! I used Dijion and dried tarragon because I had it and it worked well.

As with other reviewers, I thought this was best without the added ingredients at the end. I'm not a tarragon fan, so I left that out. Also, did not have any of the suggested mustard, so I just sprinkled some mustard powder on the beans before baking - decided the flavor wasn't necessary when we ate them. Did get my zester out and sprinkle some fresh romano cheese all over the top of the beans when I pulled them out of the oven. Will definitely make this again (omitting the last ingredients. Tasted like something from restaraunt! Hubby loved it too.

Oh my goodness!!! Healthy and delicious! Exceeded my expectations by far! When I tried the fresh tarragon (which I do not have a lot of experience cooking with raw,,I winced. But with this recipe,,it absolutely worked!!! I also put cracked black pepper and sea salt on and tossed before charring and added some afterwards to taste as well. Used fresh green beans so the water amount was perfect as well as the other ingredients and cooking time. I love garlic so even though I cut the recipe in half,,I still used 6 cloves of garlic. : The previous advice to make sure the green beans are in a single layer on the baking sheet was useful. I also sprayed the baking sheet with evoo prior to charring. Will definitely make again and again. Another favorite of mine on here are the Smoky Kale Chips. Thanks!

The tarragon is terrible!! If you get rid of the spices at the end, it may be better

New favorite way to eat the green beans! Minus the mustard and tarragon. Family ate them up last week and I'm making them again tonight. Used frozen haricot verts and no water.
