I love this recipe. I loved making the brownie from scratch, it doesn't taste like a box. Kind of got my arm soar (need to buy kitchen aid urgently but it was so fun to discover all the ingredients this delicious dessert has. Definitely will do again. Thank you!

YUMMY! i made these for my aunts birthday, and she absolutly loved it! the only changes i made was instead of making the brownie from scratch, i used a brownie mix, and used reduced fat philadelphia creme cheese. I made another one for a party, and everyone loved it! some people even asked for the recipe!

DO NOT make this brownie. Why you may ask? Simply because it is NOT a brownie but rather a cake. For those of you who are looking for a dense somewhat chewy brownie this is not your recipe. I am thoroughly disgusted by this recipe because if I wanted to make a cake I would have looked for a cake recipe. Do not even waste your time. Make a chocolate brownie and simply add a cream cheese topping which you could easily swirl into the mix.

Delicious alternative that is less fattening than your average cheesecake brownie. All the flavor with less of the fat!

Awesome recipe! I made these last night.. Everyone loved them! I used reduced-fat Philadelphia Cream Cheese.. Also, I left out the cayenne pepper and used light brown sugar because it was what I had.. I have already been asked to make them again!

Great recipe and easy to make... Let me start by saying that I hate baking. I rather cook than bake, but like many others, I cheated and used a packaged brownie mix. I did add dry cranberries to it and I did not use fat free cream cheese. I used regular cream cheese. When cutting into it, I was kicking myself for not using the orange I had. Next time, I'm going to zest the orange and use the juice as well. YUM. Thanks for a great recipe.

I followed everything exact except I didn't use reduced fat cream cheese or lowfat buttermilk. I also just use hersheys cocoa powder as well. I get compliments on them all the time.

I followed the recipe exactly and came out quite bland. It needed something else... not sure what. Maybe next time I'll add... more sugar? And perhaps more cayenne pepper?

Wow! I really enjoyed making these brownies. They came out really yummy:! Though I made the brownies out of the box. It just made everything easier!! The cheesecake part is what I used for this recipe and it was delicious!!

Like a previous review, I also used a brownie mix. I use 3 packs of brownie mix and triple the cheesecake mixture and bake it in a parchment lined full sheet pan. I love this recipe! Turns out great everytime.
