This tastes awesome. Dialed it in to our preference. Used 3/4 oz. Oscar Cherry syrup that we had on hand for flavored lattes to make it a little less sweet. Used plain old Segrim's Gin. Used frozen cherries instead of raspberries. Yummo.

A BEAUTIFUL premise for a holiday cocktail!
Best with Hendrick's Gin (less peppery, more wintry flavor and homemade cherry syrup or grenadine. I used a sweet Muscadine red for the wine and look forward to trying it with a dryer Shiraz or Cabernet.

I am drinking this right now...I added only one ounce of the cherry syrup because I am not a fan of sweet drinks and thought two ounces would be too much. It is perfect. Very refreshing!!!
You can find cherry syrup at any grocery store. Look near the alcoholic drink mixes. :

I am by no means a fan of gin. I made this for my mother who is a hard to please, ex-bartender, gin drinker and she loved this drink! I nearly fell over!!!

I love cherry drinks, and this one is light and refreshing.
