Ingredients

  • 6 fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1/2 lime, cut into 3 wedges
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 ounces gin
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Directions

Put the cherries, lime, and sugar into a large rocks glass. Muddle the fruit and sugar by pressing them with a pestle or a wooden spoon until juicy and fragrant. Add the gin and crushed ice. Cover with a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously, or stir, until combined and chilled, about 30 seconds. (In general, by the time the shaker mists up the drink is ready.) Serve.

This is a really refreshing drink. Why in the world would someone rate something they haven't even tried. And then give it a 2 star rating.

I read the ingredients and how to make this drink, which sounds lovely. I hope to try it someday, but I don't care for gin.
My comment, it says to use CRUSHED ICE, then why does the picture show cubes of ice in the glass? Dah! Now - after taking a few minutes to register it won't post my review, I have to rate it. I have not ever tasted it so how can I rate it. So I will give it two stars just to post review.
