I've made these cookies a few times, they are really good. My family loves them. They are not greasy at all, and they are very addictive. I just added a little less sugar not to make it too sweet. Over all it's a very good recipe. :

Just tried the recipe, stick to everything except I did not use any white sugar. (did not add the amount to brown sugar either The dough was put in the fridge for about a day before baking and the result is AWESOME!!! Lightly crisp on the outside and yummy soft on the inside. This is definitely a keeper for years to come!!

If you like oily, toothache sweet and flat cookies, then by all means this is the cookie for you. Followed the directions exactly and I am so bummed!

Good but also try the malted milk chocolate cookies by Ree Drummond. It's to die for! Chewy in the middle and crispy on the sides. And it tastes so delicious. The best cookies I've made.

This recipe is great. My husband thinks they are better than Paradise Bakery! -and we love their cookies. My cookies came out chewy and beautiful. They were not greasy at all, but maybe using dark parchment paper helped.??? This recipe is a keeper.

Okay, first of all, if you follow the recipe exactly it doesn't tell you to put in the baking soda or powder (it says the flour mixture so if you are a new baker, you may not realize to add this in...I first made them (not overly large but normal cookie size for the set time/temp and I thought they were a little crispy...I changed it to 350 for 11 minutes and let them sit on the baking sheet out of the oven for an extra minute before sliding them to a cooling rack; they were definitely CHEWY on the inside and a slight crispness on the outer edges.

After reading a review of this cookie in a recent issue, I had to give them a try. I don't particularly like chocolate chip cookies, but they're popular and I share with friends, neighbors and family. I must say these cookies are delicious. The mix of dark brown sugar and vanilla give them a delightful flavor. I followed the directions exactly even leaving the butter and eggs out to reach room temperature. The cookies are chewy and yummy. Five spoons!

I make chocolate chip cookies all the time, and they always come out puffy and tasty. Unfortunately, they are always crunchy. This doesn't bother me, but my dad always says he likes them chewy. I followed this recipe perfectly, (Which I usually don't for cookies and they came out flat with enough grease leftover to deep fry. I think I will stick with my crunchy cookies from now on.
