They were very bad, good taste but the texture ruined it! I wanted a nice chewy cookie! These were WAY too cakey.

So, finally made this incredible cookie.. convert most ingredients into weight measurements and they turned out unspectacular. I noticed some complain they needed to add more flour, not sure why but if its because they find the batter to be very gooey, its suppose to be like that.. the batter isn't very firm i might say its a little sloppy but trust it... it works out great.
I used 1.5 tablespoon to bake to get the perfect size for it really expands once starts baking.
By the way, if anyone wants the weight measurements, here they are and I hope they are correct. Make note, this is the weight measurement for half the recipe.
The flour needs to be sifted, so the measurement for half of the sifted flour is 158.13g
Butter: 142g
Packed brown sugar: 192.5g (I used less b/c 1/2 cup is already 110g
Gran. sugar: 27.5g (Again, i used less.. tend to not like too sweet stuff
Chocolate : 168g for 1 cup (i used bittersweet and less.. used about 1/2 cup

I Love this recipe. I followed it exactly except I used simi-sweet chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate. The cookies were soft the next day (only a few cookies made it to the next day and the chocolate was still melted inside of the cookies. The cookies were moist, in one word perfect!

i looked all over for a recipe for weeks .found this one.when i saw it had five stars i knew i could not go wrong(WRONGfollowed the recipe to the tea, baked 2 batches they were in the oven for less than five minutes both came out flat.greasy and dark almost burnt.i had put to much into this to just throw the rest of the batch away so it came to me.i added one cup of flour to the mix and they turned out better than any toll house cookie i have ever eaten .this one is a keeper.i will add 2 cups of flour next time:

I made this recipe and chilled overnight, but instead of making cookies I decided to make cookie bars. I let the dough sit out for a bit and then dumped it into at 13x9 pan, spread it out by hand with the help of plastic wrap, and baked for about 25 minutes at 400. They came out great and were super chocolately and delicious! My husband and son would agree! Thanks for the best cookie recipe I've ever used!
