These were so easy to make and got rave reviews everywhere I took them. I made over 60 and have taken them around to my kids' schools and to friends - what a creative idea to help brighten up the holiday. For the Air Heads, I went to Party City - they have bins of different kinds of indidvidual candies - and absolutely cleaned them out of every single white Air Head they had. The girl just kind of looked at me like I was off my rocker, but when I took one back in there to show her, she thought it was precious.... thanks for the great idea Food Network!! (-:

So I really enjoy making cupcakes and instead of making my Easter Baskets this year I found these. Here are a few helpful hints to make your cupcake making easier. First off white airheads are hard to find! I went to Albertsons, Safeway, QFC, Sweet Factory and none of these places had them. I ended up finding them at a Chevron Station in packs of 6. 5 other bright colors and one white one Also, the way I got them to stick best was frosting the cupcakes, adding the peep, putting up the airhead, adding the grass and frosting gluing the robin eggs on. Just a few helpful hints. These were such a HIT in the office today! Thanks :

I made these this afternoon with my kids and boy did they have a blast, they were so easy to make. They were so upset when we were all done. I had to promise them that we could make them again later in the week.

Why would u rate this recipe just one star? Just to bring down overall score? How juvenile. Your review should be removed and u should add two s'es to your name.

Made these the easy way today (store bought white cake mix and frosting and they turned out too cute. I love the way they look! Found the airheads at Target and I rolled them out a bit with the rolling pin and then used my kitchen scissors to cut up the jagged edges of the egg. I used peanut m&ms and jelly beans for the little eggs. Everyone loved these, the decoration is such a special touch that brightens everyone's day.

When I bake cupcakes I have a problen with the paper liner pulling away from the cupcake. I would like to bake these for my great-granddaughter's birthday next week but I don't want the papers to come off ?

Airhead candy is a flat taffy that comes in various flavors. It's usually near the candy bars. http://www.airheads.com/

I always try to read the reviews before trying any recipe. After some light reading I ventured off on a quest for these adorable cupcakes. I ended up making them 3 times, 3 different combination's.

The one thing I learned was that the use of the food processor is essential, and I agree with one of the other reviewers with the use of cake flour.

The fluff frosting is touchy to deal with but the flavor melds well. It is quick to set up so be ready. Personally I prefer a professional frosting that is available at most any grocery's bakery. They will sell it to you and is the best tasting for a medium consistency decorator frosting.

"Airheads" are a "kid's candy" and can easily found at the local corner gas station mini marts. I live in Anchorage, and if I can find them with ease up here *L*... Fondant is a good replacement for it's consistency but the flavor combination isn't the best.

These are just too cute, who couldn't love them? It isn't the cupcake or the frosting/icing... it is the design on top that make these winners!!
