This receipt is really good. The next time I will try it with pasta instead of rice and make a little more sauce. Other than that, delicious!

This is a great recipe. This tastes better than most of the Chinese restaurants. I used powdered ginger in place of the fresh ginger. I used a total of 1/4 of a teaspoon of powdered ginger in place of the 1 inch of ginger. I also used flour instead of cornstarch since I realized I forgot to get the cornstarch. It still worked perfectly.

doubled the recipe, added carrots, onions and green pepper. the whole family loved it and said it was better than our favorite chinese take out! i baked alton brown's brown rice with it and it was a total hit, even with my picky 10 year old, oh and i did add only 1/2 the chili flakes for heat. will make again for sure!

this was decent but next time, i would omit the sugar in the marinade - i had a funny feeling about adding it, and only added half the amount called for, and nnext time, no sugar...

I added a bit more ginger and my family LOVED it. The sauce is delicious! Definitely a keeper!
