Excellent stir fry! Will cook again. Goes into the recipe file.

This was better than any stir fry I've ever had. The sauce is perfect and tangy, with just enough spice. I modified the recipe by using frozen stir fry veggies. I suggest doubling the recipe. There won't be leftovers!

Great recipe. Easy. We have 4 kids and my 4 year old took 2 bites and literally gave me the "thumbs up", as he proceeded to eat the rest!!! Did not have sherry so I used rice vinegar and extra sugar. Cannot wait to fix again!! I also added mushrooms, carrots and water chestnuts. FABULOUS!!!

This is restaurant quality. Really excellent. I halved the ginger- too much ginger can be very overwhelming, and I added a little more hoisin, since i love that flavor. I also used snap peas, mushrooms and carrots in addition to broccoli. This was a huge hit with my family. Also, I only used 1 tablespoon total of veggie oil and it was perfectly fine, saved us some calories!

I left out the hoisin sauce. There's enough flavor from the soy sauce, sherry, and sesame oil. I don't like store-prepared hoisin sauces, which are too sweet.

This is a pretty average stirfry recipe. I agree with other reviewers who have commented that the preparation time is more than estimated - expect 40-50 minutes from start to finish. I added more vegetables that I had on hand - onion instead of scallions, what was left of a bulb of fennel, and a few mushrooms. The recipe works well with such additions. We weren't wowed by the result, but it was a nice enough mid-week dinner.

This dish was wonderful and easy. I used kosher salt instead of regular salt.

I really couldn't imagine that this would be as good as everyone here said, but it really is!! My family said that it's as good as the take out we get from a top local restaurant. Try it, you won't be disappointed if you follow the recipe!!
