I thought the battered chicken was delicious and easy to prepare, but......the sauce was underwhelming. I like apricot type sauces too, so I was disappointed. It wasn't bad, just not great and didn't match with the fried flavor. My most picky eater said it was the best thing I have ever made and used Ranch dressing, which went well. Next time I might try a BBQ/OJ sauce that I make.

These chicken fingers were so easy to make and came out so light and airy and yet very tasty. I didn't make sauce with them, we just put out our usual suspects ssuch as BBG Sauce, sweet and sour sauce, and ketchup. Next time I think I will try the sauce, it sounds so easy to make and it sounds so yummy.

Batter was light and crispy, and the dipping sauce was delicious! We will definitely make this again.

So tasty and sweet, I used it on several different types of meat kabobs, lamb, beef, chicken and shrimp excellent on all! All my guests loved it.

I have a FoodNetwork cookbook (Makin' it Easy, I think and there's a recipe in there just like this. BUT in the book the recipe has you bread the strips in 2 cups of Panko, a teaspoon of salt and the zest of one lemon. You dip the strips in about 3 lightly beaten eggs, then pat the Panko mix on to them and put them into the oil to fry. They cook really well and, once they dry a bit after you take them out of the oil, they're crispy and delicious! If you don't like breading with flour and that sort of thing like how this recipe wants you to, Panko is the way to go!

This was the most wonderful batter, easy to make, light and not gooey. I can't wait to try it on fish. I didn't try the Dipping Sauce but will next time. The batter was so perfect I am guessing the sauce will be, too!
