This is the easiest and best chicken noodle soup recipe I have found when you want that "comfort" food...I only wish I had fresh herbs on hand instead of the dried I used bit it was still delicious...The only change I made was to add diced jalapenos to give it a little kick...

I give it a 4 stars for quick and easy. On the flavor side, I found it bland and had to jazz things up a bit with garlic, etc. I also had to add way more chicken broth as the noodles seemed to sop it up and turn it into more of a stew as it kept in the fridge.

I opted to use 2 ribs of celery instead of the 2 stalks that the recipe called for.

Normally, this yummy recipe would get 4 stars but because it is SUPER EASY to prepare I went ahead and gave it an extra star.
Here is how I adjust the recipe:
1. I use the meat from 2 roasted hens, pre-cooked and ready to eat instead of the chicken breast.
2. If needed, I add Orrington Farms Chicken Flavored Soup Base to taste.
My family LOVES this soup and the recipe makes cooking on busy nights a non-issue. It is wonderful as left overs too.
HINT: If you don't have dill or parsley on hand the soup is still wonderful.

Lazy snowy Sunday, this Soup was so easy and so good, I stuck to the recipe exactly as it is written except doubled it and I put it on a low simmer for about 2 hours and precooked my pasta before adding it to the soup. Even my usual non soup eaters were going back for seconds and thirds.

We all have colds in our house and this was the perfect soup to help us all feel better! I made a double batch, used a roasted chicken, and added homemade noodles which put it over the top. The only chicken noodle soup my daughter has loved. The only thing I'll change next time is less celery.

I more or less tripled the recipe to make a big pot of this wonderful soup. Instead of noodles, I served with rice.....PERFECT! It's a keeper....

Perfectly fine as is, but I need a bit of a kick. I added 2 minced jalapenos to the pot to give it just a bit of spice. Did cure my craving for chicken soup and very very easy to make
