Hubby asked for chicken parm to night, so I found this recipe. Glad I did! It was delicious,I had to cook my chicken a little longer (could be my oven, chicken was tender. I did add garlic powder, Italian seasoning and salt to the seasoned bread crumbs. I didn't make my own, just opened a can of Hunt's Four Cheese, since I wanted to finish quickly. Served this with Garlic Bread and hubby didn't want any other side. Great tasting chicken parm!

This is really good! I left out the red pepper flakes because I'm not a fan of using them in Italian food, and it was great. We had spaghetti noodles with it.

Very yummy, I like to use this recipe and substitute the pasta I'm used to having with chicken parm with baked spaghetti squash. I just make a little extra sauce and its definitely satisfying when you're craving the real thing.

I make this often for me and my girlfriend who is a vegetarian so she gets the eggplant. I of course go with chicken but I do a few changes on this. I pound the chicken flat so it cooks more evenly and i also bake it until crispy. Of course frying it is fun but to take it extra healthy, baking it keeps the oil out of the system. I have made it both ways and actually prefer the baked over the fried. I place it over a bed of whole grain noodles and then it's time to refuel the cells. I love it. Excellent dinner night!

Excellent! and easy. Kids love it. Have made it 3 times in past 4 weeks. Made my own cutlets buy buying boneless skinless chicken breast and pounding out, using a meat mallet(flat side, in a 1 gal. plastic bag. May want to cut large chicken breast in half and don't pound too thin. Also used chopped garlic, packed in water, in jar. Plus used dried basil vice fresh. One time, had to use mixture of dried basil and dried italian herbs due to not enough basil(do not leave out balsamic vinegar. Believe that made sauce better. Suggest preping chicken ahead of time and place on platter in frig, if tight on time, preping takes the longest. Suggest doubling recipe, reheats nicely and makes GREAT! chicken parm sandwiches next day. ENJOY!

Suprisingly we all loved it! Even the kids!... I followed all the recipe as indicated but only changed two things. Instead of Olive oil to cook the coated chicken I just used the spray & suprisingly it cooked well. I used diced tomatoes instead & after they boiled I crushed them more to make it more saucy. .. When everything was done & I transfered it from the oven dish to the plates it was NOT soggy at all! (maybe it was the cooking spray that i used instead of the oil when I initially cooked it.... Either way, Im not a beginner but Im not an intermediate cook yet either, and this recipe was easy and quicker than I expected and overal delicious! It taste good for being the healthier version of the original. Its a keeper! **Oh and I did use a little more break crums & parmecian cheese.

This was very good, a little involved because you have to use so many dishes during the prep, but worth it in the end. I did tenderize the chicken and I think it helped keep the meat soft and moist once cooked. I also used diced tomatoes for the sauce and pureed it a little with a hand held mixer prior to adding the basil... I find my kids complain less about tomatoes if they are are not in any size chunck! I also got sliced mozerella from the deli counter (thin - it looked nicer once melted and I think I was able to control the amount much better. I would make it again for sure
