Whatever you do , DO NOT salt it til the very end!!! I made this today and it's too salty!! I had to make more chicken and doctor it up to take away the salty taste, I added some sweet pickle relish, more celery and the extra chicken finally helped...other than that it's pretty tasty! will make it again!

This is by far the best Chicken Salad that I have ever made. I replaced the Dijon mustard with honey mustard and added Sour Cream approx 1/4 Cup. Served on a Spinach Wrap with fresh spinach and tomatoes. Excellent!!!!

Good recipe, but needs more of a kick. I used 3/4C mayo instead of 1C, and added a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar which really brought the flavor out.

So very easy! What I did instead of poaching a chicken was to buy 2 nice hot rotisserie chickens. I only used the breast meat and since it's already seasoned there was no need to add any additional salt!!! I also added a tablespoon of sour cream instead of the whole cup of mayo!! It was fantastic!!!!

I have finally found a chicken salad recipe that is a keeper. It is very tasy and easy to make. I added dill instead of tarragon, and added salt and pepper to taste. I never add the amount on the recipe because I am not a huge fan of putting a bunch of salt in all at once. I slowly add until I like it. When I poached the chicken, I added a couple of cloves of crushed garlic and added fresh cracked black pepper right in the water, and it came out excellent. I believe adding the lemon is a must because it really wakes up all the flavors in the salad. Also, for the mayo, I used the mayo made with olive oil and I think it elevated the salad as well. Yum :

I've never posted a review but I couldn't help myself after making this chicken salad. This is hands down the best chicken salad I've ever had! I made this as a side for my son's high school graduation party (I even doubled it and there was not one single bite left! I made one batch with a precooked rotisserie chicken, and one with grilled chicken I cooked and omitted all salt. I also used fresh dill & parsley, freshly squeezed lemon juice and red onion and Oh My is all I can say. In fact, I just made it again for a picnic yesterday and again, it was such a hit, all my friends want this recipe. Definitely worth 5 stars!!

This recipe was delicious. I added most of a tart/sweet apple and omitted the salt after reading some of the other reviewers. I LOVE salt, and this recipe absolutely did not need ANY added to it. (Maybe that depends on the type of MAyo you use? I used dill and Vidalia (sweet onions, and I added some chives. I also added almonds right before serving so that they wouldn't get soggy. I will definitley keep this recipe handy and use it again! Thanks for providing this for us!!!
