This is now my family's favorite recipe. My husband loves sausage so I add a little extra to the recipe and I also added a few more peppers to make it pop. I took this over to a friend who had surgery and they loved it as well. Will make over and over. Thanks

I am new cook and this was fairly easy. The highest compliment I can give is that my eleven year old son who wants to eats mostly chicken nuggets came up for seconds. Thanks for the prep advice, it made the cooking much easier.

It has great heat that doesn't scorch the taste buds. Felt good to experiment with something new but probably won't do this one again.

To be honest, I only picked this recipe because it was quick and wasn't expecting it to be something that was going to "knock my socks off" or anything but this meal was such a hit! My husband and brother-in-law loved it! We had it served over brown rice simply because I had some precooked and it was easy, but I think if I made it again I'd do the same thing! I also think this is a forgiving recipe because I didn't have all the exact ingredients on hand, but just substituted where I needed to and it was still delicious. Definitely will make this again!

This was excellent! I live on the West coast and we don't have Italian frying peppers so I used 3 Anaheim chilis instead and the dish was excellent. I served it with gnocchis (drizzled with olive oil and parmesan cheese.
ONE IMPORTANT NOTE-- make sure you have EVERYTHING prepped before you make this dish. The cooking is fast and furious and if you don't have everything chopped up and ready to go then you will overcook the meats while you are trying to cut up the veggies etc..
Don't omit the cherry peppers...they really added a nice flavor!

This dish was delicious!! Experimenting different things with my daughter and she love it. I let her sample the sauce and she told me to add a little spice. So i added Mrs. Dash extra spicy seasoning and it was a hit. Will definitely be in the rotation for dinner!

This dish was great, very delicious and easy to make! Where I live, in Ohio, the Italian frying peppers are called Cubanels. I would not substitute and other type of pepper for this recipe because the peppers really tasted great with the sausage. I served this over white rice and it was perfect.

We loved it! I used green peppers and didn't add the cherry item. I also took out 1/4 c. of sauce and thickened it with 1 tblsp. flour, then added it back to the original dish. I prefer a thicker sauce and served it over brown rice. Excellent dish that I will make again.
