My family liked this soup more than me. The cinnamon/cumin mix reminds me of Cincinnati Chili, which I'm also not a fan. I used boneless/skinless chicken thighs since that's all I had in the freezer. I poached it 1st then shredded before adding to soup.

Less than stellar. The cinnamon was overpowering and the chickpeas needed longer to simmer. That said, it was fast, easy and tasted better on the second day. However, I will not be making again.
