This was easy and tastes great. I disagree with the other reviewer from Tucson. The beans and beef go great together and the zuchinni gives it a great texture. We like to kick up the heat at our house so I added serrano peppers to it and bought pinto beans with jalepenos. Like I said, we like it hot!

Woweee, this tostada is bursting with flavor! It was a very balanced, fresh dish. I did substitute lemon for the lime, used fresh tomatoes with the cabbage, oven baked the tortillas and cooked the pintos from scratch. This dish was a winner with my family, thanks Food Network!!

This was so quick and easy, not to mention yummy. I fried some corn tortillas in lard to make my own tostadas to give it more of a restaurant quality taste, because we do not like store bought tostadas. Also served chopped lettuce and tomatoes for those who did not like cabbage. Everyone was happy, and because they are so easy to put together, I will be adding this to my monthly rotation.

Our family really loved these. It was a great alternative to a mexican style dinner. The beans and zuchinni and coleslaw help make a nice filler to the meat. All in all it was quick and easy to do. Had my zuchinni allready chopped and frozen so all I had to do was dice it a little more and add it to the mix. Will be making again!

Worn out recipe that tastes like a brew of left overs. Zucchini makes for a goopy mess.
Skip the beans! Everyone in Texas and Arizona knows you don't put beans in Tex Mex food or chile!

I really liked this one. The beef/bean mixture makes far more then the 8 tostadas. Next time I will double the slaw mixture. 2 cups did not make a lot. The mix of flavors is outstanding. I would not leave any thing out even the raw onions had a part in the flavor. The 1.5 teaspoon of chipotle was the perfect amount of spice/flavor for us. The zucchini does get lost but I like the fact that my picky daughter didn't know she was eating a veggie. I will be making this again it is a simple one pot summer dish

This was a really great dish! Only changes I made were to double the chipotle seasoning and added two tablespoons of Mexican chili powder and one tablespoon of cayenne pepper. We like dishes really spicy at my house!!

These were easy to make and had great flavor. I liked the addition of the zucchini for more veggies.
