This is a relatively easy recipe. I made it with about a 1/2 lb of shrimp and 1 lb of Tilapia. Both were very good, but my husband and I agree the shrimp were a little better! The salsa was a wonderful complement to the spiciness of the shrimp. Overall, we loved the recipe!

This is an awesome recipe! I refer to it over and over! We like it even more when we add some extra avocado into the salsa verde. Thank you Food Network!!

A friend made this for dinner last night, and I had to get the recipe from her. Delicious!

Regular guacamole would have been just as fine in my opinion, but the shrimp was fantastic!

I have made variations of both the shrimp and the salsa several times and finely think I have come up with the perfect tweaks.

Roast the tomatillos, onion, garlic and jalapeno in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. Also use more garlic. This tones down the onion flavor and gives everything a warm, deep roasted flavor. I also like to add a little bit of lime at the finish.

For the shrimp, I recommend using canned chipotle chilis in adobo and marinating the shrimp in the finely chopped chilis and sauce for about 30 minutes.

Overall I think this dish is healthy, quick and authentic.

This shrimp is out of this world with just the right kick of spice.

these tacos were okay... the tortillas fell apart no matter what i did... i suggest using store bought salsa verde instead of the tomatillos (they made the salsa far too sweet
