The best chocolate chip cookie I have ever made. I used all-purpose flour and left out the cherries. I think I made 4 batches in 4 days because my family wouldn't stop eating them! I did 11 minutes because we like them chewy.

wHAT A GREAT RECIPE. NO BUTTER! YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE BUTTER TO SOFTEN AND IT IS ALOT HEALTHIER. I USED OLIVE OIL INSTEAD. I DID NOT HAVE ANY TRIED CHERRIES OR CRANBERRIES SO I USED CHOPPED WALNUTS. LOVE THIS RECIPE.

That is not the same recipe. I made this recipe exactly as it says and it turned out really great! DO NOT change this recipe. The Whole Wheat Pastry Flour is what makes this cookies so delicious and tender. The cherries are a great adiction as well.

It took me about half the time that it says it takes to put this together. I used all purpose flour for both cups instead of the whole wheat and I left out the dried fruit. The recipe was easy and yummy. I baked for exactly 12 min. the top rack pan was brown and the bottom light but both cooked. It was moist and chewy right out of the oven. Stored in an airtight container and the next day was harder , but still chewy.
