i actually forgot to add the sugar and everyone said they were great. i also used semi sweet chocolate morsels instead of chocolate chip.... i kinda messed up on this recipe lol but it came out great without no sugar.... i dont know how i missed it. but it wasnt sweet so if you miss the sugar it comes out great!!!

I found these very easy to make and my boys loved them. I put the egg whites in my stand mixer and had them whipping while I assembled the rest of the ingredients, By the time the rest of the ingredients were mixed together, the egg white/sugar mixture was done, so I folded them in and started making the waffles. Very easy and very delicious. No more Eggo's for us!

These were delicious, although my husband thought they were too sweet for breakfast. However, served with vanilla icecream and chocolate sauce would make a fantastic dessert.

Even though I cut down on the amount of chocolate chips the recipe required, my kids thought these had too much chocolate in them. I think these are too rich for breakfast; they would probably be better served as a dessert with vanilla ice cream.
