For a different twist, melt botterscotch chips and drizzle over the chocolate. A big hit at my house!

This is a great recipe, but everytime I make chocolate covered strawberries they get soft after sitting out for a little while. I've tried putting parafin wax in them, but I never put the right amoung in. How do I get them to remain hard?

I made these to top my Daughters Birthday cake. They were so simple. She said thet were delicious, I don't do fruit n chocolate so I couldn't judge the taste but they were easy and fun to make. I melted semi-sweet chips in one bowl in microwave and white chocolate chips in another. I dipped half the strawberries in white and the other half in dark then drizzled the opposite chocolate on each. I used a zip lock bag and cut tiny hole in corner to drizzle, so easy. The white chocolate chips melt up great in the microwave by the way. ENJOY!

Follow directions for semi-sweet chocolate.... but for the white chocolate try this:
Chop white chocolate into small bits.
Place bits in freezer style zipper bag (these tend to be heavier-duty. Place in bowl of already boiled water... careful not to place bag in the hot pan used to boil water. Allow to sit a few minutes, massage bag until the bits are melted. Snip a SMALL cut out of the bottom corner of bag. Squeeze out a drizzle pattern over strawberries. Discard bag.

    Yea! It works great!
