I'm assuming you wouldn't be reading this review if you didn't like shortbread. So, if you like shortbread and you like chocolate, you'll like these. It's really that simple. The shortbread has a buttery flavor and bakes up golden. The dough is completed in minutes. The hardest part of this recipe is waiting chilling the dough for 30 minutes, waiting for them to cool after baking and then waiting for the chocolate to set. Melt about 3/4 c bittersweet chocolate chips for dipping. A small pinch of sea salt on the dipped chocolate cookies adds a nice twist and gives the salty/sweet taste that is so popular now. I would make these again.
