Egg salad perfection! The first bite was a little confusing. Having only ever eaten egg salad made with eggs, mayo, salt, and pepper, I was expecting a different taste. The second bite was AWESOME! This recipe has caused me to reconsider egg salad as a weekly option, rather than an "after Easter to use up the hard boiled eggs" option. My husband and I are going to try the sauce portion of the recipe with potatoes for a scrumptious potato salad, we hope. I can't wait! :

This was delicious! Mine was not too salty. You must use specifically kosher salt. I agree with the other comments about not rating this recipe based on individual salt preference. It was a very good combination of ingredients. I would make this again.

This egg salad is far too salty! I added two (2 teaspoons of sweet relish to make it palatable. Glad I made this only for myself. I would never serve to others.

This was absolutely delicious, and I made the recipe as is. I think using a good quality mustard makes a difference. I've tried a similar recipe that used the same ingredients but significantly less mustard, dill, and onion; it can't compare. 5 stars; this will be a great summer sandwich to take on road trips or serve at a party.

This is the best egg salad I have had. I did start with one tsp. kosher salt. Most of my guests added more salt. Better to start low as you can always add more. You cannot remove salt once added however. I still think this is a 5 star recipe. I do not believe stars should be reduced if the recipe is only altered by the amount of salt or pepper. I also do not think the stars should be reduced if someone changes the recipe by the addition or exclusion of key ingrdients.

This is the best egg salad recipe I have made. Please don't skip the dill. All the ingredients are necessary - the end result is just the perfect light taste and all the flavors compliment each other. My husband loves it.

We loved this recipe!! Husband thought it was the best egg salad he has had and made sure I made enough for leftovers sandwiches.
