Directions
For each drink, shake 2 ounces applejack liqueur, 1 ounce lemon juice and a splash of grenadine or simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Strain into an ice-filled glass. Top with hard apple cider and serve with a cinnamon stick.

I like it! Then, I am a bourbon aficionado and I grew up on homegrown Apple Brandy made in the GA Mountains. It is a festive holiday drink with a kick. Make sure you use a highball glass and not a larger vessel. The cinnamon stick is a nice treat. Certainly not for the faint of heart as it has a mellow kick!

It was ok after I added more than a splash of grenadine. However, I will probably not make it again...I want a cocktail that is good, not just OK.

Disgusting! All you could taste was the apple brandy and it was gross! Also, the lemon juice seemed out of place, definitely didn't make it better! Save your money on the apple brandy and buy a bottle of vodka! :
