    I'm a beginner baker and so I don't have a wealth of experience. I do have to admit though, everything I've ever made has always been really delicious.

    However, this recipe didn't taste the way I expected. The cupcake batter was delicious and so was the meringue frosting! The cupcake itself after baking was really dry. I don't know how I could tweak the recipe so that the cupcakes would be more moist. Maybe bake for a shorter period of time?

    The cupcakes were edible, but nothing I would rave about to my friends. I wouldn't recommend this recipe unless you know how to make the cupcakes more moist.

    These tasted ok but I also had them come out dry and dense. Not the best but not the worst...just bad that they are for a party and I have no time to make a different recipe!

    I liked this recipe very much but be careful not to make these on a rainy or humid day.

    Although simple enough, the cupcakes were dry and dense. My kids loved the meringue it was different and not what they unexpected. Just sweet and tart enough.

    I was looking for a simple cupcake recipe and I found it! They were moist and wonderfully tasting!!!
