    I've made to batches of these in the last week. One was for a bake sale at work, they were gone in no time. The other for family, they will be gone by the time their cool, I'm sure.

    I made these last week and gave them as gifts for people at work. The recipe is easy to follow and they turned out perfectly. The crust was delicious; tastes like a shortbread cookie. The lemon was a bit sweet for me, but everyone raved about them! I listened to the reviewers and did not grease the pan (just the foil, and they are correct that this step is unnecessary. And no pan to clean!

    Made these last week for my boyfriend and my room mates. They were delicious. I, myself wasn't very fond of the crust, but everyone else thought they were absolutely delicious.

    Best lemon bar recipe ever. Do everything just as recipe says from how you oil pan to using the foil - everything! The only thing to play with is the sugar amount which I cut almost in half. For my family and friends its the best that way and with the Meyer Lemons from our tree.

    These bars were a wonderful change from the super-sweet boxed mixes, but I was anticipating the same sweetness, so these were a bit of a surprise. The recipe was easy and outside of the baking time, these really take no time at all. Best of all, you've got a whole 9x13 pan of lemony goodness to enjoy!

    Delicious, but a little acidic for my taste. Next time I will decrease the lemon juice a little.
    Also I used one and a half sticks of butter and the crust was amazing.

    Excellent! Perfect blend of flavors. However as someone else mentioned there is no need to oil your pan before you put the foil in. That is obviously a typo. I didn't change a thing in this recipe. I don't understand people who take a recipe and make all kinds of changes and then hate it and give it bad ratings.
    We loved these Lemon Bars!

    The crust holds up well and is flaky and buttery. The filling is a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. I did not make any changes to the recipe.
    I've tried some with more ratings thinking I would find the right one. This will be my keeper for all future Lemon Bars.
