I tried this for the first time at Christmas and it is now one of my favorites to both make and eat. I filled some of mine with dried cranberries and got rave reviews from the recipients. The only complaint is you cannot double the recipe and have to make separate batches. If you like chocolate you will love these but beware because they are very light and it's very easy to get carried away eating them!

I put a quarter tea spoon of raspberry jam. Turned out fantastic!

These are delicious cocoa cookies! I filled them with the Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses and left some without. I will be making these again, next time I will try with marshmallows! Definitely will be making these again and looking forward to passing these out on my Holiday Cookie Trays!

Wish I can just give no stars for recipe. It was absolutely a waste of my time. I have been baking for several years and I consider my self a quite good with what I do. I followed the recipe exactly and the outcome was a disaster. Will NEVER make this recipe again. I think I should just stick to recipe on All recipes website.

These were wonderful cocoa cookies. I used Hershey's candy cane kisses as my filling, I also rolled them in red & green sprinkles. My family raved about them everytime they had a cookie. These cookies would be good plain also. New favorite holiday treat!

For those who said this was not a tasty recipe, I wonder if you skimped on the type of cocoa? Made these for a company potluck and they were a hit. Used Andes Candies pieces which made them irresistable!

My new favorite chocolate cookie, the cookie is not over sweet, and by adding the sweeter toppings got a thumbs up from everyone that was lucky enough to try them.

VERY good. Saw these in the FN magazine. I like white chocolate chips in center.

These were great fun to make - my daughter loved making the thumb print! However, once we tasted them we were not very impressed. Will probably not make again.

These cookies were very easy and quick to make and tasted wonderful. I used chocolate bits that were a mixture of mint and dark chocolate. I plan to make more in a couple of days for Christmas. I found that they only made a bit more than 2 dozen.
