unfortunately I couldn't taste much else, next time I would only use 1/4 of the zest. I had some hazelnuts on hand, so I chopped them with the cranberries in my mini chopper...would have been good to taste all the flavors...

Enjoyed these macaroons! Very easy to make and everyone loved them. The hardest part about making them was shaping the mounds into pyramid shape!

I added 1/4 c. mini chocolate morsels and it was delicious. Mine came out a bit darker than in the picture, but they tasted just fine. I will definitely make this again.

These are tasty. To make them better, mix the coconut with a little cornstarch... toss it with your fingers so that every bit is coated. This will improve the texture and make them easier to form. Also, as others said you might want to cut the sugar and zest a bit. Nice take on a macaroon though.

I thought the cookie was good not quite great though. If you're in the mood for macaroons then by all means make the recipe. Some people complained about forming them and when dipping your hands in the water, I experienced no such problems.
