Please refrain from calling any baked goods "kid-friendly" in these days of life-threatening allergies to nuts and especially PEANUTS.

Read all of the reviews and found that baking at 350 was perfect for 12 minutes. The cookies are not necessarily sweet but they have some sweetness and they are nice and buttery tasting too. The dough easily came together and I did not have any trouble shaping it and baking it. Hopefully, everyone who tastes them will enjoy them.

The combination of textures makes for a fun cookie. It's nice because its not overly sweet and you get a nice crunch and peanut flavor from the peanuts. Did reduce cooking temperature to 350 as that appeared to be a possible problem from earlier reviews and the cookies came out great.

The first batch was almost burnt so I turned down to 375. They tasted very blah and were very crumbly. The next sheet I added 1/4 c. peanutbutter and they still didn't hold together. They also were not sweet enough. My doggies loved them and are not much different than their cookie recipe and they are healthy! Will not make again.

This was the 2nd cookie of the evening I made from this site. Two failures in a row. 400 degrees was too high, the bottoms burned when baked for 12 minutes. But most importantly, where's the sweetness? They remind me of a diet power bar. I rolled them in powdered sugar & will see how well they go over. I'm sticking with my own tried and true cookie recipes.

yummy recipe, tastes like an oreo cookie. The dough was a little too crumbly and hard to hold together, but the cookies came out nice.

I combined the ingredients together like a regular cookie instead of melting the butter like the recipe says, and I refrigerated the dough overnight. Cooked in 400 degree oven and they were moist! I imagine if you don't chill the dough you can get a crisper cookie. All depends on your preference. My husband loved these even though he doesn't like coconut! I will definitely make these again.

Nice peanut and coconut flavor and they came together really quickly. I got up from the computer and made them as soon as I got the e-mail! Not a fancy cookie, but good crunchy, hearty texture. I kept oven temp at 400 but baked for only 9-10 minutes. They need to be nice and golden brown, but they were bordering on burnt when baked for 12 min as directed.

I used 1/4-1/2cup peanut butter instead of peanuts. Also, 400 degrees was too hot for 1st batch-cooked too much. Used 350 for the second-excellent cookie

For those of you who were looking for an easy recipe in the 12 days of cookies, this is it. You can almost get the dough together while the oven preheats. If you use a leveled measuring teablespoon to shape the cookies, it makes exactly three dozen. Not a fancy cookie, but overall good taste and crunch. Pretty strong coconut flavor.
