Nothing like I expected. Will need to find one with more flavor. Very bland

I don't make cornbread often, so i don't have a "favorite" recipe stored in my brain. This recipe looked simple & quick, however, the finished product wasn't what I wanted. I like crumbly, sweet cornbread, and this recipe just didn't fit the bill. Wasn't entirely awful, but I won't use this recipe again.

this was pretty good cornbread. i love cornbread in a cast iron skillet, and the sugar gave it that sweetness typical of southern cornbread. i'll make it again!

To me, this recipe was OK. It was very dry and needs more sugar in my opinion. The corn flavor definitely came through, though.

I like this recipe as a starting point, I doubled the sugar and drizzled honey all over the top and it was amazing.

Firm, yet fluffy. A great cornbread recipe. Everybody that I make it for loves it. I recommend mixing all ingredients by hand, however, rather than using a standing mixer.

Great recipe -I love that it doesnt require buttermilk like most cornbread recipes, so I always have the ingredients on hand. It has great fluffy texture and a little sweet just the way I like it!

it's not bad, but it's texture is just slightly too cakey for me. personally, i like my cornbread to be really crumbly. also, the recipe, though not hard, is more complicated than a cornbread recipe needs to be. i actually prefer the recipe on the back of the cornmeal package to this one, but that's just me. of course, if someone offered me some cornbread made with this recipe, wouldn't sneeze at it.
