First time I've made a cream soup and this was GREAT!!! I added extra carrots and some egg noodles at the end.... and kinda "stubbed my toe" with the sherry, and it was still FAB!!! A must try for cold, rainy or snowy days!!! Will definitely make this again!!!

I have been making a Greek egg lemon chicken rice soup for years that is a family favorite. I made this recipe as indicated, but I used the immersion blender before adding the chicken to puree the vegetables. I also added rice and lemon at the end and it is my new favorite. Great Recipe

This is the best cream of chicken soup my family and I have ever eaten. I want to say that I stuck to the recipe exactly, but I did not have the sherry and I added yukon potatoes. We love our starch so we will be eating ours over rice. And it is cold out and raining. You know what that means. (Perfect Soup Weather-- Really I must go now because soups on. Try this soup you will love it.

I have made this recipe a few times as it is and we love it! This time, instead of using chicken, I used leftover Thanksgiving Turkey, and added some cheese stuffed dumplings...boyfriend said I can make it every week, and to make a bigger batch next time!

If you love chicken pot pie, you will say this is the best soup ever that tastes just like a great homemade pot pie! I didn't expect that but I loved it. I changed nothing and it was fantastic and a great hit for everyone that ate it.

This was absolutely delicious! I went ahead and used a whole 2lb bag of boneless, skinless chicken breast, because we like our soups really meaty. Like another reviewer, I didn't have any fresh thyme on hand, so I just used dried. And lastly, I threw in 8 slices of Provolone cheese at the very end (because we are cheese lovers!, and that REALLY put it over the top. This soup cooks so quickly, but has that hearty been-cooking-all-day taste. Delicious!

This is the best and easiest chicken soup I've made. My whole family and very picky toddler love it! A definite must-make recipe! I use dry thyme instead of fresh and it always turns out great.

This soup was so easy to make! It is the first cream soup I have made in a few years and it was light, not heavy as you expect cream soup to be! My picky 4 year old daughter even liked it! I used homemade chicken broth that I made roaster chicken with (also from Foodnetwork and I didn't have to season the soup at all! It was perfect!

This is so easy to make!!! It is so rich and creamy, I love the texture of this recipe cause I like thicker soups. GREAT!!
