First time making cream of chicken soup. I made my own broth instead of using canned. The soup was so delicious. This is a keeper.

I'm not a soup person but my husband is, and I made this tonight because he wanted it. I must say I was really surprised! It has a really good taste. I loved it, so did my husband and children. I did add two cups of rice per a reviewers suggestion. VERY TASTY

I have made this several times for guests and no one can believe how good this soup is. The only change I made was to throw in a bag of egg noodles toward the end, which makes it even better. I thinks it's the combination of cream and sherry that makes it so good. Do not hesitate to make this - it's so easy and your family and friends will RAVE and ask for the recipe!

My husband just loved a creamy chicken noodle soup a local restaurant used to serve. I tried Sandra Lee's recipe and I am sorry to say it was horrible (I should have stuck to my rule of not using canned items.. I added noodles to this and made a few adjustments to increase the spices to our taste and it is terrific. My husband says it is 10 times better than the restaurant version.

Used carrots and shallots only because I didn't have celery. Delicious!

Made this for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit. The soup is creamy and tasty and this is the best cream of chicken soup I have ever made.

What a truly delicious soup. I made it as a cream of turkey soup with great results. This is one to make over an over again. Thank you for such a great recipe.

This is a wonderful soup. The sherry makes the taste. I love making soup, and this is my boyfriends favorite! A little lengthy, but well worth it!

This soup was very easy to make and had lots of flavor, however, next time I make it I will include some wild rice and perhaps mushrooms. Don't hesitate to try this delicious recipe.
