    I have never liked tomato soup from a can before. Too sweet. For some crazy reason I decided to try this recipe. My husband and I loved this! I can't wait to make it again. I followed his ingredients exactly. Instead of using the blender to puree the soup, I used an immersion blender. It was so much easier that way. If you have one I recommend it.

    This soup has the best of everything; flavor, spices, creaminess...yet it's light enough to enjoy with a meal and not feel stuffed.

    This soup was fabulous- creamy, comforting, and healthy! I loved knowing that my kids were getting all those veggies in. I read a review that someone was going to omit the cream-I agree that this soup would probably be great with or without the cream. The flavors blend well. Thank you!

    Very delicious.I did not use the bacon ,cut the butter in half and used non fat cream.
