I make something similar with rosemary. I have been growing fresh sage in my herb garden and have never really cooked with it.. just like the smell. They turned out really good. This will be a new dinner time favorite :

This is a fantastic recipe. I used rosemary instead of sage and sprinkled garlic powder and salt instead of mashed garlic.

These were good but I think this is one of those recipes where you make them once and make them again when someone else wants them.

These were awesome! I used just regular russet potatoes and left the skin on. I also used rosemary instead of sage because that's what I had. I will definitely make these again. Much healthier alternative to fries.

Simple and delicious! The fresh sage is a wonderfully aromatic addition that I never would have considered. I minced the garlic and tossed it in with the potatoes after the first 30 minutes, which added a nice crunch.

Great alternative to fried french fries and not soggy at all! I added a little thyme, which marries well with sage. Yum!

Brings back memories of how my mom used to prepare. The dinner companion was overwhelmed by the tasty meal we prepared together.
The aroma in the house was an added bonus on a cold rainy day.
