Yum! we skipped on the onion but it was good! My husband felt that the cilantro did not go with the dish but I had no complaints.. My todler enjoyed dipping the chips into the soup. It was a very bold flavor... a perfect welcome to the fall weather!!

Fantastic flavor in this festive fall soup and easy to make. I added homemade croutons.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the flavor of this soup. It was delicious. We did the recipe exactly as stated. I would change anything except to have a loaf of crusty bread on hand.

I rather liked this soup. Like another poster, I ended up eating the sweet potato chips on their own - got to remember to keep the slices the same thickness so as not to burn some edges and leave others underdone.......I thought it had a nice flavor.

This soup rates high on creativity. The flavor is average though. The soup was good, but I probably won't make it again any time soon. Make sure to put the cilantro on top before eating as it really does give the soup a much better flavor than without it.

Made this recipe exactly as it's written. It was good but it didn't quite hit the spot for me and my family. I didn't really like the texture...if I were to make it again I'd probably add more stock maybe. It had the texture of applesauce, not surprsingly. The spices were good, especially if you like curry. The vinegar butter is a good idea as it helps to cut through the sweetness of the soup. We ended up eating all of the chips before they could go on the soup : All in all it's a good recipe, but nothing to write home about.
