One of my favorite drinks ... I've heard of the variation from Bermuda ... but it's also an Australian drink made with Bundaberg Rum and Bundaberg Gingerbeer. Very popular in restaurants over there. Bundaberg Rum is a pretty amazing treat if you can find it :-

Use Goslings if you want, but there is NO reason to say this drink must be made using a particular brand. Goslings apparently conned a copyright, but it should be invalid. This drink was being made with various rums long before they had the idea to highjack it.

make these with ginger beer and goslings dark rum, add a slice of rum.
make them as strong or weak as you like, and they will be a big hit.

I understand that this drink is from Bermuda and they didn't mention it. But the drink is still delicious. Rate the recipe no the write-up.

A Dark and Stormy is a BERMUDA drink, made from Gosling's Black Seal rum and ginger beer. To not mention Black Seal, or Bermuda, is sacreligious!!

I agree with the fist review, it is an interesting twist but the Dark and Stormy is a Bermudian Drink, with Goslings Dark rum and Stone gingerbeer.
