Very delicious. I made this for a party and it was a hit, everyone got seconds. I did not put the currents though, I also used a different Greek yogurt and it worked out fine. For the cardamom I sprinkled a little bit of it into it. I also used Hershey cocoa powder and it tasted just the same. I recamend that you use garadelli chocolate for the chocolate chunks.

Delicious!!!
I used regular dark coffee instead of the espresso, and also substituted dry cherries/ pomegranate for the currants, just because I love cherry/pomegranate!!!

This was not a bad chocolate cake. I forgot to add the chopped chocolcate pieces, but still came out perfectly chocolatey! It is moist, and looks gorgeous. i didn't add the spices or the coffee, since i didn't have them on hand. Overall, a pretty average cake.

Sooo good!
I didn't have any yogurt so I used sour cream and it came out perfect. I also used regular dark coffee instead of the espresso. I added melted chocolate into the coca mixture and it made it even better and chocolatier. I used dark chocolate so it was still healthy. I also was wondering why she didn't use half whole wheat flour so I added half regular and half whole wheat and it tastes great! Its surprising that its healthy!

So delicious! I made a few changes the second time I made it to make it both healthier and better!
1. splenda instead of sugar
2. Cinnamon to replace cardamon
3. Strong black coffee to replace the boiling water
4. Non-fat greek yogurt to replace the butter
5. Chocolate chips instead of the chopped chocolate
I'm studying nutrition so health is always my goal and this is an awesome healthy cake which is hard to find!

The first time I used currants according to the recipe, but the second time I also added raspberry, and it was even better. Overall, a great cake.

This was a good recipe but a bit complicated and the prep took a long time. I substituted sour cream for the yogurt, dried cherries for the currants, and leftover coffee for the expresso/water. I also used cinnamon/nutmeg instead of cardamon. The cake was still very good and moist. It also looks beautiful. I will definitely make it again using the currants and more chocolate pieces.

Wow, I will definitely make this cake again. I forgot to add the chocolate chips and it still came out great! I eat a slice with my cup of coffee in the morning. It's day 3 and the cake is still moist. Thank you!
