this is NOT a whoopie pie!! You cannot make them using a marshmallow as the filling - it just is not the same. Filling must be made with a crisco, powdered sugar, vanilla combo. Do not confuse this recipe with a whoopie pie!

Very good cookies. I didn't include the chips in the recipe. If I did it again, I would use mini chips in the cookie dough. I didn't think it was that time consuming. I used an entire marshmellow and pressed them together at the end so they cooled off well and didn't fall apart.

These were amazing! My family devoured them! I made the cookies smaller and only used half a marshmallow and they were cute and scrumptious!
