You can create up to five timers

Directions

Whisk 1/3 cup sour cream, 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, some chopped fresh dill and chives and 1 teaspoon each caraway seeds and celery salt. Toss in 1 thinly sliced fennel bulb and 1/2 head thinly sliced red cabbage. Season with salt and pepper; chill 20 minutes.

    I'd watched the simplest idea from Ina about roasting fennel with EVOO, salt and pepper. This has become my absolute favorite! I add it to everything I can think of :-
    Perhaps try this slaw with roasted sliced fennel and that could be the sweet you are looking for. It really brings out the flavor.

    OK I really did not like this recipe and I really like slaw's. This recipe did not have an type of sweetener which is where I think it went wrong. This recipe just did not satisfy my craving for a good slaw, I was looking forward to the sweet fennel flavor mixing with the dressing and it didn't happen! I would add some sugar and a little more apple cider vinegar as well as let is chill a little longer to make this a more traditional slaw flavor.
