Yummy! I gave it a 4 just because I changed up a few things. I used ground turkey, doubled the garlic, put in half the water, and finished the sauce with a few tablespoons of ricotta. I didn't top with parmesan, but with fresh parsley...it was wonderful!

This recipe was so easy and so quick. I used wine in place of the water and chicken sausage in place of the turkey or veal. I also let mine cook down a little. Loved it.

I was not impressed with this sauce. I used home grown beef which is really good. The recipe is very bland - needs more flavors added which I reworked the sauce and did.

The taste was okay, but the quantities were way off! It makes about 4 cups of sauce, which is not enough to feed a family of 4 AND have 3 cups leftover for the suggested stuffed pepper recipe.

Delish! And easy too! I used the ground turkey (nice and cheap! and added more garlic because I love me some garlic! Everytime I make this recipe I add a litte of this or that to make it my own. Feel free to experiment! You can't screw this one up! :
I'm single and live alone. I make a batch of this and can eat on it for days! :

Very good. I would agree with the others that it doesn't need a full cup of water.

I used a frozen mirepoix I bought at the store (onion, carrots, celery instead of using fresh and it was fantastic. Also, substituted chicken stock for water. Very tasty - turned out great!

Good flavor, my sauce turned out rather runny. I would cut the water or skip it next time, overall good. Trying the peppers tomorrow.

I had to triple this recipe. I made half in one skillet and the rest in another. I skipped the water and let it simmer more like 30 minutes because I felt it was a little thin. Used lean turkey, and even though the recipe didn't say to, I thought the meat mixture needed to be drained before adding the tomatoes and milk. Tasted great, and my whole family enjoyed it.

This was amazing! My entire family ate this-my 1 yr old & my 3 yr old girls are very picky and ate every bite! A small miracle. I used ground turkey instead of veal. It was so easy and I can't wait to make it again. I also made the stuffed peppers tonight. They were good, but I preferred this recipe. Yum Yum Yum!!
