I made this for a Christmas party and it was so good! Everyone raved and one friend bought the Food Network magazine so she had the recipe for her Christmas dinner.

I made both the hams in this issue for Christmas. Both were big hits but this one was the winner!! Great flavor!

I wanted a different recipe that was easy yet modern. This was a hit at XMAS dinner - very tasty (Asian my boyfriend said - very easy once I found the fig jam. I covered the ham with foil during cooking to prevent dryness and cooked it for 1 hour total to heat through since the ham is pre-cooked. The glaze from the pan drippings went into a gravy boat. Those who did not have seconds took home a serving. This version will be my standard for future family dinners (I'm already planning Easter..... Thank you Deen Brothers - Yum!

This was by far the best glaze I have ever tasted. I usually end up with a rather dry and tasteless spiral ham, this ham had the most flavor of any ham I have ever made. The combination of the orange and fig really permeates the whole ham. It was so easy and quick. Do try!
