I always have fresh berries on hand this time of year. Thanks MOM. I love to try new recipes for dessert. This one turns out excellent. I love the fresh ingredients, and the lime is a wonderful after taste. Maybe a couple of dark chocolate chips for a topper?

The sauce would go well over vanilla ice cream too..it was great!
I modified the recipe a little, leaving out the whipped cream and added 2 tbs more of sugar to the berries as my strawberries were tastless, sad to say.
I tasted the cream cheese mixture after I had it mixed together and I thought it tasted fine without the cream so left it out which meant it also didn't need to be strained...either way it's wonderful....

Obviously this is for those who are into portion control.........so rich that a small amount goes a LONG way! Very good as well as impressive for an easy to create, everyone will love dessert. Nice for summer with the fresh berries as well.
I agree, however, it should not be called Cheesecake....... this is much more like a classic Coeur ala creme.

I made this for my momma on her birthday last year and now she wants it every special occasion :P Use a little less cream and a little more cream cheese and sugar and you'll get a totally different texture but it's cheesier and sooo good! A little more lime zest gives it even more zing! I'd suggets making it to the recipe first though - it's wonderful as is, and you'll be able to gauge how much cheesier or whippier you want it! You can play with the berries too - all sorts of fruit will work great with this cheesecake! Easy and fun too! My fave dessert!

I made this last night for a 10 person dinner party. It was definitely a hit. It was light and fluffy and I think almost everyone went back for seconds. I made it the night before and let it sit in the fridge about 24 hours. It was a great dish for entertaining because there was very little work I had to do to serve it. I just warmed up the berries, scooped the cheesecake out of the cheesecloth into little bowls, and topped with the warm berries.
I highly recommend it and the recipe needed no tweaks.

Made this last weekend as dessert for a backyard BBQ - everyone loved it! Got several requests for the recipe and compliments on the presentation (on cake stand. Preparation was easy and nice not to need oven on hot August day.
I may try making in future with coffee flavoring or caramel sauce on top when berries are out of season.

Although this is not a cheesecake in the traditional sense, it is light, fluffy, delicious and beautiful. The lime adds a nice touch. I made this for the first time and served for friends after a hearty lunch. They loved it! Next time,I will probably prepare more of the berry topping and might consider omitting the strawberries and using more of the other berries in their place.

This was so easy and a major hit at a dinner party I catered. One of the guests of honor has an egg allergy, so I had been looking for a dessert without eggs. This was perfect.
