I made this salad as part of the mother's day brunch I made for my mom. Everyone loved this salad. I made half with the Grand Marnier and half without. Both were good, but the Grand Marnier definitely adds a little hint of grown up flavor that we enjoyed. The prep work was tedious, but definitely worth it. Because of my time constraints the salad had to sit for more than the recommended 2 hours before it was served. It was still very good, but it would have been a little prettier and a little drier if it had sat for an hour or so. I will make this salad again!

Quite possibly the best fruit salad I've ever had! One change I made was using Grand Marnier...after visiting the liquor store and finding how much even the smallest bottle was (tiny bottle for $20. Large bottle $69, I substituted Triple Sec ($6 per bottle. Since you only need 1 Tbsp anyway, it probably was not a big deal. I suppose if you had Grand Marnier lying around the house, it would be great, but the Triple Sec worked well. This is a delicious, light recipe. I'll be making it all summer!

This salad is wonderful. I substitued pineapple instead of papaya or mango. I also added red seedless grapes and about 3 tablespoons of orange juice. The Grand Marnier and mint give it that zing that my guests loved.

The contrasting textures of fruit and the addition of refreshing mint livens up what can be an all too predictable dish. My three year old loves this and so do I.
