Great recipe and the Cajaun Pepper was a teaser in there. My First Batch I put the full amount called for and I felt it was a bit to much , so when I mixed another Batch of dry ingredients I put in 1/8 th of a Tsp. And still can tell it was there , but not as much Punch !!
Thank You for a nice change to my favorite Food !!

I used a fish fry instead of the first 4 or 5 ingredients and got a great taste. I tried the corn meal didn't like it either. Great recipe for a snack or part of a meal.

Should have taken advice of some of the reviews and OMITTED the corn meal...Felt like chewing on "sand"

I made this recipe w/o the corn meal and used twice as much flour - better tasting and softer coating.

The cornmeal is tough to chew. Next time I make them I'm going to omit the cornmeal hoping for a lighter flaky crunch.

My family went crazy for this. I made a plate full and it was gone in less then 5 minutes. The batter is the best I have ever made. Will use it for other vegies and shrimp.

Good recipe! Very easy and yummy. I cooked them a little longer than the 2 minutes per side...more like 3-4 per side because I like them extra crunchy. Also good with a little hot sauce. :-

The corn meal makes it crispy and sweet. Better than anything I have had out. Doesnt save well so eat it all.
