This was absolutely delicious...EVERYONE loved it and I will add it to the Christmas traditions at our house...made it in a Bundt pan, drizzled with a simple bittersweet chocolate ganache, added a sprig of Holly and it was the perfect holiday dessert! So moist and dense...no yucky diet taste at all. I'm thinking the disappointed reviewer above used old spices....

This receipe gives you the great taste of orginal gingerbread without the guilty feeling. I made it for Thanksgving and everyone really enjoyed it. Even my husband who dislikes a lot of low fat/calorie recipes. I made it my own by sprinkling the whole bread with confection sugar then each piece with sugar cinnimon and added some vanilla cool whip. Give it a try.

This turned out beautiful, good texture, but the taste just wasn't above average. No one ate it.

YOU WOULD NOT KNOW THIS WAS SLIMMED...IT IS VERY EASY AND HAS THE TASTE OF TRADITION GINGERBREAD I REMEMBER AS A CHILD!
IT IS DELICIOUS BY ITSELF OR WITH A NUMBER OF TOPPINGS.
